Medical Assistant – Job Description

Position: Medical Assistant
Shift: Days
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Standard Hours: 40 hours/week
Late Clinic: Clinic may remain open until 7:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays , with possible late-end times on those days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers and patients.
• Assist with patient intake, rooming, and preparation for appointments.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and relevant health information.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Assist healthcare providers with examinations and routine clinical procedures.
• Support patient flow and coordinate care within the clinic.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and the healthcare team.
• Follow clinic policies and maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and infection-control standards.
• Perform other Medical Assistant duties as assigned.

Schedule Requirement: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for possible extended hours until 7:00 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.
