Registered Nurse – Clinic / Ambulatory Care

Location: Newport, NH 03773
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Shift: Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Monday/Wednesday: Possible extended schedule until 7:00 PM
Weekends: None; holiday coverage if required
On-Call: None
Pay: $36.27 – $50.92/hr

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical care in an ambulatory/clinic setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while providing education, treatment, and support to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform face-to-face and telephone patient/family assessments.
• Collect and analyze physical and psychosocial health information.
• Develop and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Document assessments, interventions, instructions, and patient responses.
• Provide patient and family education and health counseling.
• Assist clinicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Serve as a nursing resource and provide guidance to other staff.
• Delegate duties appropriately according to the NH Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience – Required
• Practice/clinic setting experience – Highly Preferred
• Active New Hampshire RN License – Required
• • Compact RN license accepted.
  • Pending NH license may be considered.
• AHA BLS Certification – Required
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
