S&L Contracting is looking for motivated and reliable Road Striping & Pavement Marking Crew Members to join our team in Kentucky . If you're looking for hands-on work that directly contributes to road safety and infrastructure, this opportunity is for you.
About S&L ContractingS&L Contracting, a DBA of Mullens Markings , provides professional pavement marking, traffic control, roadway safety, and signage services throughout Kentucky and the surrounding region. Mullens Markings is proud to be an operating company of Road Safety Services (RSS) , one of North America's leading providers of pavement marking and traffic control services. With operations across 23+ states and more than 50 locations , RSS combines the strength of a national organization with the expertise of its local operating companies. Whether it's 500 feet or 500 miles, we get the job done safely, properly, and on time.
What You'll Do- Road Striping & Pavement Marking Assist in applying road markings including lane lines, crosswalks, and symbols using specialized striping equipment.
- Traffic Control Set up and maintain traffic control devices during road construction and maintenance projects.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance Operate CDL-required vehicles, including trucks and striping machines. Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Physical Labor Perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Safety Compliance Follow all company and job-site safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record required
- Class A or B CDL is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Prior experience in road construction, striping, or traffic control preferred but not required
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and meet shifting schedule demands
- Essential infrastructure work
