Information Technology Technician at State of Connecticut Executive Branch

Hybrid Location Hartford, CT The State of Connecticut, Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Bureau of Information Technology Solutions (BITS), is currently accepting applications for the position of Information Technology Technician in support of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) within our Central Office.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

SCHEDULE: Full-Time (40 Hours), First Shift, Hybrid work environment (combination of on-site and remote work) Please note: The incumbent(s) will be required to travel and support projects in regional offices as needed. At the current time, these positions are hybrid position with some days going into the office and the other days working remotely. Professional growth and development opportunities. We are seeking a highly motivated Information Technology Technicians to serve as the first line of support to staff with our CT KIND applications. The Information Technology Technician responds to staff inquiries about database issues, troubleshoot data entry problems with staff, determine the nature of staff problems (data entry issue or program bug), and test changes from information technology staff to database application. As we continue to transition the work into CT-KIND.
