Multi-Site Service Technician - POD 1 (San Capella, San Sonoma, San Paseo)

All service team members who participate in the on‑call rotation receive an additional $3.00 per hour incentive for all hours worked while on‑call. Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications*** Requirements General knowledge in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA‑related standards Knowledge of building systems Service orientation. Basic computer skills. Experience as apartment turn technician, make‑ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable. A basic understanding of written and verbal English. In This Role You Will: Assist in the completion of make‑ready units to Mark‑Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of make‑ready units for the Community. Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs. Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available. Perform daily pool care, ensure the pool is in proper chemical balance and the area is free of safety concerns. Complete minor roof repairs, re‑key locks, and cut keys. Inspect the property for safety hazards that may pose a liability and correct the hazard, informing the Manager of Facilities and Service of the hazard. Share on‑call duty with the Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members, and be readily available to go to the property if needed and in uniform/badge. Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies. Mark‑Taylor is an equal opportunity employer and a drug‑free workplace.
