Senior Financial Analyst, Operations Finance Waco, TX 76701 Essential Functions Support operations excellence through in-depth analysis and reporting of daily/weekly/monthly plant performance and cost drivers (e.g., labor). Assist in the preparation and support of routine month‑end closing entries and account reconciliations on a timely basis. Partner with inventory control coordinators to investigate inventory discrepancies and provide technical guidance. Review waste, identify key drivers, and push forward for process improvements that aid in reporting and cost reduction. Assist with the development of the monthly, weekly, quarterly forecasting process for North America manufacturing consolidation, reporting, and analysis. Track financial forecast accuracy and bias, identify root causes, and drive improvements. Assist the Controller with the annual budget process for North American manufacturing plants, including plant‑level budgeting, regional/BU consolidation, and cause‑of‑change analysis. Work with Operations to ensure processes are followed and enhanced for purchase orders, spare part counts, P‑card compliance, and invoice resolution. Provide other ad‑hoc reporting, process optimization, development, and additional projects as required. Develop and maintain financial SOPs and documentation. Work with Operations and Engineering business partners to assist with monthly capital activity reporting, capital budgeting, and capital cash‑flow forecasting activities. Skills and Competencies Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must. Proficient in PowerPoint and Word, with eagerness to learn other software applications. Experience with SAP and/or BI preferred. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Evidence of continuous improvement in prior roles. High level of accountability; self‑starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently. Strong customer‑service orientation. Ability to multi‑task, work in an organized, detailed manner under limited timeframes and tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain results, document processes, and convey ideas. Results‑oriented with a sense of urgency; able to work under deadline pressures. Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities. Education and Experience Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting required. Two or more years of financial business experience required. Manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in forecasting and analysis. Demonstrated data‑mining capabilities with the ability to develop analytical models, tools, and reports. Working Conditions Physical Demands – Continuous sitting for prolonged periods; role is primarily administrative. Visual/Sensory – Requires attention to detail and focus on multiple senses. Work Environment – Fast‑paced environment requiring focus under pressure. Mental Stress – Pronounced pressure from deadlines and accuracy demands.
