Job Title: Shop Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Worker to join our team in Dover. In this role, you will work with tool steel, cutting it down to specific specifications using various tools and machines. This position involves general labor and production tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Use machines, hand tools, and power tools to cut tool steel to specific measurements.
• Read a tape measure accurately down to 1/8 inch.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Train on and operate a forklift as needed, with training provided.
• Ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.

• Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/8 of an inch.
• Basic math skills, including understanding fractions and decimals.
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature controlled environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Previous industrial experience is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and processes.

Work in a large open warehouse with a team of approximately five people. The environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with forklifts moving around. Safety gear and training will be provided to ensure a secure working environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dover, NH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
