Taylor Farms (Des Moines) Machine Operator
We are seeking dependable Machine Operators to support production for a company serving the retail and food-service industry, offering items such as ready-to-eat greens, pasta salads, dips, quiches, veggie trays, and fruit trays. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a cold-controlled environment, and comfort operating machinery and performing general warehouse tasks.
Pay: $21/hr
Shifts Available:
- 6:00 AM start time Sunday & Wednesday off
- 6:00 AM start time Sunday & Wednesday off
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Quality Control Inspect products for accuracy, consistency, and defects
- Production Support Assist with setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Cold Environment Work Perform duties in a temperature-controlled facility
- Picking & Scanning Accurately pick, scan, and stage materials as needed
- Safety Compliance Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
- Communication Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
