About the Position

Job Title: RN Surgery Profession: RN Surgery Specialty: RN Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to respond to hospital within 30 minutes of call - Required to participate in on-call schedule Description: This position requires four 10-hour shifts. Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. On-call duty is required, with the expectation of one call per week. On-call hours will begin at the end of the shift, from 5:30 PM until 7:00 AM the following day. There will be one weekend on-call duty every five weeks, either Saturday or Sunday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. The facility is a level 3 trauma center. Responding to calls from the supervisor within 30 minutes is mandatory. The unit is currently experiencing staffing shortages with multiple open positions.
