This contract role gives you the opportunity to work 1:1 with a student who has significant behavioral challenges, providing encouragement, guidance, and vital skills in a school setting near Los Angeles, CA.


In this full-time position, you'll be part of a dedicated support team, helping to create a safe and positive learning environment. This assignment is scheduled from April 13, 2026, through June 11, 2026, offering you the chance to make a real impact during critical months of the academic year.


Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, required
• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success supporting students with serious behavioral concerns
• Ability to stay calm and exercise sound judgment in challenging situations
• Professional, respectful communication style with students, staff, and families
• Preference given to male candidates to best meet the student's needs

What You'll Do:

• Work 1:1 with a student-building trust and rapport while implementing behavioral intervention strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to reinforce positive behaviors
• Accurately document interventions and student progress on daily logs
• Support classroom integration and participation as appropriate
• Adapt behavioral techniques in response to evolving student needs
