About the Role We are seeking a socially savvy, creative, and detail‑oriented Freelance Junior Video Editor to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with our Video Producer to transform existing long‑form interview footage and branded content into engaging, platform‑specific short videos for social media. Your primary responsibility will be to create compelling short‑form content such as reels, stories, and clips optimized for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, and others. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and best practices to maximize engagement and reach. You will be responsible for editing multiple variations of content, adding captions, subtitles, graphics, and on‑brand text overlays to enhance viewer engagement. Additionally, you will organize and manage footage libraries and project files efficiently, collaborate on creative strategies to boost content performance, and perform light colour correction and audio mixing as needed. This role offers a flexible, remote work environment suited for a self‑motivated individual with a passion for social media content creation and editing.
