We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Podcast Video Editor who can transform long-form podcast and interview content into engaging, high-performing videos for both YouTube and short-form platforms. This role goes beyond technical editing — we’re looking for someone with strong editorial instinct and a deep understanding of U.S. content trends, particularly in the education and career space. Responsibilities Edit full-length podcast and interview recordings into polished YouTube uploads (intro/outro, captions, and b-roll if supplied). Cut long-form content into engaging short-form videos optimized for social media platforms. Add captions, sound design, transitions, and hooks that align with current content trends. Suggest clip moments worth cutting — must have editorial instinct, not just technical skill. Follow US creators in the education and career space on TikTok / Reels. Understands hook formats, pacing expectations, and caption styles popular in the US market. Knows how to structure a short-form clip that retains US viewers past the 3-second mark. Requirements Experience editing content is required. Portfolio with both long-form edits AND short clips — both are required. Nice to have: If you edited videos for a US-based creator, media brand, or educational channel before.
