Location: Social Circle, GA
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team in Social Circle, GA. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience operating a Clamp Truck or Stand-Up Forklift. All new hires will participate in a two-week training program before transitioning to the regular 10-hour shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including: sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers.
- Load, unload, move, and store products and materials.
- Transport and stack materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Use RF scanners and related equipment to scan products and print labels.
- Complete required paperwork and utilize inventory management systems.
- Follow product rotation procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Perform cycle counts as required.
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections using the forklift safety checklist.
- Maintain compliance with SQFI, FDA, customer, and company standards.
- Report safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a Clamp Truck or Stand-Up Forklift. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required. Experience with warehouse inventory systems and RF scanning equipment is preferred.
