Lyra is transforming access to life-changing mental health care through Lyra Empower, the only fully integrated, AI-powered platform combining the highest-quality care and technology solutions. You will be employed by Lyra Clinical Associates.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced mental health clinical leader with a passion for clinical quality and management to serve as a clinical quality manager and lead for our Pediatric virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (vIOP), an accelerated, comprehensive care experience that helps young people ages 7 to 25 feel better quickly from the comfort of home. The pediatric vIOP is a critical service for acute patients who need more than traditional, once-a-week therapy. This program is a critical component of our full-spectrum of care services. It not only helps to avoid re-hospitalization, but its availability within our services ensures these members have direct access to our core coaching, therapy, and psychiatry services once they are stabilized.

For this full-time role, the primary responsibility will be to train, provide management oversight, and clinical consultation to a team of behavioral care managers and therapists practicing CBT, DBT, ERP and other evidence-based practices to vIOP clients through our innovative video therapy platform. This includes reviewing and providing feedback on clinical quality metrics and consulting on clinical cases. You will also assist with key quality improvement initiatives including specialty consultations, provider training, and quality assurance reviews.

This role is a great fit if you have training, experience, and expertise in treating clients (young adults and adolescents) with mood and anxiety disorders in an intensive outpatient program setting, as well as a commitment to evidence-based and culturally responsive care, clinical quality assurance, experience in administrative and clinical management of licensed independent mental health providers and case managers, and developing high performing teams.

This role reports to our Sr. Director, High Acuity Care Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical quality oversight and administrative supervision to vIOP therapists in clinical practice and behavioral care managers

  • Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of vIOP therapists and behavioral care managers

  • Provide ongoing mentoring and consultation to vIOP therapists and behavioral care managers

  • Provide ongoing feedback regarding team member’s’ performance including clinical quality, productivity, adherence to evidence-based treatment models, client feedback, and interpersonal effectiveness

  • Ensure care and support provided across the team is culturally responsive and outcomes driven

  • Lead ongoing 1:1’s and consultation team meeting with assigned vIOP therapists, behavioral care managers, and consultation teams

  • Support Psych Urgent Care appointments (7 bookable calendar spots)

  • Provide clinical coverage for vIOP individual and group sessions as needed

  • Maintain a small personal caseload of clients;

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • PhD or PSYD in clinical or counseling psychology or Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC) from an accredited program

  • Current unrestricted license to practice within the United States

  • Willingness to obtain cross-licensing in additional states or PSYPACT as needed to support program growth

  • 5+ years postgraduate clinical experience

  • 2+ years of experience in providing care and leadership in a high acuity (IOP, PHP, residential) setting

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical supervision and training of evidence-based therapies

  • 1+ years of experience in administrative supervision / management of licensed independent providers and behavioral care managers

  • Knowledge of research and theoretical foundations of evidence based treatments

  • Highly skilled in working with clients with severe, co-occurring clinical diagnoses and high risk presentations

  • Highly skilled in providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, TF-CBT, etc.)

  • Experienced and passionate about helping kids, teens, young adults, and families to achieve goals

  • Experienced in brief, goal-focused psychotherapy using measurement based care

  • Grounded in cultural humility with a commitment to culturally responsive care

  • Experience with video therapy and providing supervision/consultation on how to conduct clinical sessions via video conferencing software

  • Comfort with technology and working within a fast-moving environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (listening and communicating)

  • Passion for transforming mental health through technology with a human touch

  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

  • Full-time resident of the United States
