Provide compassionate care that helps young people heal and grow. Schedule: Friday-Sunday - 7:30am-8pm, on-call 2-3 times a month. As a Registered Nurse (Float) at Royal Oaks Hospital, you’ll play a key role in providing safe, high-quality care to children and teens working toward emotional and behavioral stability. You’ll be part of an interdisciplinary team that values collaboration, compassion, and clinical excellence—helping each patient move toward hope and healing. Key Responsibilities Deliver trauma-informed, patient-centered nursing care for children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate individualized care Monitor, assess, and document patient progress, ensuring safety and quality standards are met Provide education and emotional support to patients and families Mentor and support new nursing team members to promote professional growth Participate in ongoing quality improvement and continuing education efforts Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Associate’s degree in nursing required Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred Work Experience / Training / Additional Requirements At least one year of psychiatric experience preferred Licensure / Certification RN or GN that must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation required You’ll Be a Great Fit for This Role If You Are passionate about supporting children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges Communicate calmly and effectively, even in stressful situations Value teamwork and collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting Are motivated to provide compassionate, evidence-based care *Retention bonuses paid as per bonus policy; exclusions may apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr Compass Health Network Company
