Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active, valid SLPA professional license (Texas)
• Experience in a school-based SLPA role preferred
• Knowledge of AAC devices is a plus
• Must complete state fingerprinting/background check
• Please indicate if you have worked for this district previously
• Must disclose if ever terminated from a district (required affidavit)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy support for middle and high school students
• Serve primarily at one campus, with potential to float to a second as needed
• Manage a caseload averaging 80-90 students, adjusted by experience level
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs and special education teams to implement IEPs and therapy plans
• Document services and monitor student progress
