Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active Texas SLP licensure and Florida SLP license (image of license required)
• Prior experience in school settings and familiarity with middle or high school populations
• Confidence in managing a caseload of 50-60 students
• Ability to fulfill the full range of SLP responsibilities: therapy sessions, ARD meeting participation, assessments/evaluations, and documentation
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• District fingerprinting clearance (or current credentials in the system)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to support student needs
• Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments
• Participate actively in ARD meetings, collaborating on student progress and goal planning
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and educational staff
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district standards
