Schedule/Shift

8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend, call, and holiday requirements.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist plays a critical role in ensuring a sterile and efficient surgical environment. You will assist in the preparation of surgical patients and support surgeons during procedures. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining surgical equipment and adhering to safety and sterilization protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the surgical environment to ensure sterility.
• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
• Function under the direct supervision of an RN and assist in nursing care for surgical patients.
• Document surgical procedures and patient care activities accurately.
• May be required to precept new staff.

Required Experience

• MUST have travel experience.
• Orthopedic experience is required.
• Scrubbing experience is required.
• Experience with Davinci systems is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Technologist program is required.
• BLS certification is required.
