Painter 2 California 3rd Shift

Job Status: Onsite, Full-Time. Location: Lynwood, CA 90262. Pay Range: $18.00 – $27.50 per hour (DOE) + 3rd Shift Differential. Shift: 10:30pm - 6:00am. Responsibilities Inspect parts to determine painting requirements based on shop paperwork Select and verify appropriate paint per job specifications Mix paint in accordance with Technical Data Sheets or manufacturer’s instructions Prepare surfaces, including minor sanding and cleaning Apply coatings such as epoxy, lacquer, resin, and final color coats Paint a variety of surfaces and metals using proper techniques Replace paint booth filters contaminated with chromate or solvents Adhere to safety protocols, including use of PPE and respirators Coordinate tasks with team members to ensure workflow efficiency Complete assigned tasks within designated time frames Perform other duties as assigned Experience & Skills Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft painting or aerospace surface processing Skills & Competencies Accountability Accuracy and attention to detail Applied learning and continuous improvement Strong oral communication Customer-focused attitude Enthusiastic and motivated Ethical conduct and integrity Goal-oriented mindset Initiative and sound judgment Reliable and responsible Physical & Sensory Requirements Near, peripheral, color, and depth vision Ability to hear typical conversations Sense of smell and touch Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective clothing #J-18808-Ljbffr Valence
