Fire Alarm Inspector

Job Skills / Requirements The purpose of this position is to provide reliable, high‑quality customer support through on‑site maintenance, inspections and preventative services performed on all fire and security systems. Pass background checks and drug tests. Ability to obtain specified licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry according to state regulations. High School Graduate or GED required. Ability to travel as needed. Mathematical skills including calculation of interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and basic algebra and geometry. Responsibilities Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems. Test and verify that all systems and devices (alarm panels, sirens, horns, strobes, etc.) function properly and adhere to manufacturer specifications. Complete proper paperwork and submit daily to the appropriate department. Communicate with clients, co‑workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
