TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Vestal, New York, 13850!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Long-Term Care required. License: Must have a valid state license. Certifications: BLS required. Must-Have: Strong attendance and punctuality required. Description: Facility is a state-run Long-Term Care Center. The facility includes rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care. Shifts are 8 hours, 5 days per week, with every other weekend required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:18-20. Nurses will provide care to patients, including those with Alzheimer's and dementia. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitoring and reporting changes in resident conditions is essential. Timely and accurate documentation is required. Nurses will supervise CNAs on assigned units. Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Team players with a positive attitude are encouraged to apply. Dependability with consistent attendance is a must. Flexibility with scheduling needs is required. Clinical observation and medication administration tests must be passed. All call outs must be given with ample notice. Any requests for time off must be approved at the time of submission and cannot be changed later. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must complete necessary modules prior to the assignment start date. A verified reference is required prior to contract start.
