Graduate Student Affairs Officer 2 Organization: Bourns College of Engineering Location: Main Campus - UCR Date Posted: October 31, 2024 Schedule: 8AM - 5PM Full-time (100%) Level of Supervision: Supervision Open Until Filled Salary: $51,600 - $87,000 Full salary range: $24.71 - $41.67 per hour Current work authorization required; we do not sponsor employment visas. In this role, you’ll have opportunities for professional development, collaboration with multiple departments, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to our graduate programs. This position will be required to work on campus and may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule after completing a probationary period. Advise and Support Students: Guide students on academic progress, assist with degree requirements, and provide orientation sessions. Manage Recruitment and Admissions: Evaluate applications, conduct outreach, and make recommendations to the Graduate Admissions Committee. Coordinate Events: Organize orientations, recruitment events, and colloquium events. Collaborate on Financial Aid: Work with graduate advisors and financial staff on fellowships, grants, and employment packages. Develop Program Resources: Update student handbooks, create marketing materials, and maintain the department’s website.
