Regional Sales Manager – Texas

Education, Municipal & Sports Markets

Texas-based | Houston preferred | $100,000–$170,000 base plus bonus and incentives

This is a hands-on sales leadership role for someone who has successfully sold and led teams selling six-figure, project-based solutions with multiple decision makers and sales cycles of 3–12 months

You will lead an established five-person outside sales team serving K-12 schools, higher education, municipalities, parks and recreation departments, athletic facilities and sports venues throughout Texas

The right background

• Experience selling large, project-based or construction-related solutions with 3–12-month sales cycles
• Personally led presentations, developed proposals, negotiated contracts and closed six-figure capital projects
• Successfully managed and developed outside sales representatives
• Experience navigating multiple stakeholders such as school administrators, athletic directors, municipalities, architects, contractors, purchasing teams and boards
• Texas market relationships within K-12, higher education, municipal, parks and recreation or sports facility markets strongly preferred
• Comfortable traveling throughout Texas and working alongside sales representatives in the field
• Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Lead, coach and develop a five-person outside sales team
• Travel with representatives and participate directly in major customer meetings
• Help advance complex opportunities from initial discovery through proposal, negotiation and close
• Build sales strategies for long-cycle, high-value projects
• Partner with Inside Sales and Operations to improve execution and customer results
• Strengthen relationships and expand business throughout Texas
