Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator to join our team in Bridgewater, NJ and Hazlet, NJ. The role involves coordination and oversight of activities at Patient Service Centers, performance of phlebotomy and specimen processing, and ensuring optimal operation. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays 6:30am - 12:00pm. Job Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors. Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs. Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary. Address customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful manner. Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of experience as a people leader. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Pay Range: $20.99 - $27.00 per hour. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
