Maintenance Director – Skilled Nursing

The Greens at Gastonia is actively seeking a Maintenance Director with proven experience in a skilled nursing, healthcare, or regulated facility environment .

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the building is survey-ready at all times, with strong oversight of life safety systems, preventative maintenance, and compliance standards .

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Leading all maintenance operations for the facility
• Maintaining survey readiness and compliance with Life Safety Code
• Managing preventative maintenance programs and documentation
• Overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and emergency systems
• Coordinating repairs and projects with vendors and contractors
• Partnering with leadership to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
• Responding to urgent maintenance needs and on-call situations

Minimum Requirements:

• Maintenance Director or Supervisor experience REQUIRED
• Healthcare, skilled nursing, or regulated facility experience REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, OSHA, and compliance standards
• Hands-on experience with building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
