Unit Highlights

Join our dynamic healthcare team in Fort Worth, TX, as an RN in the 4W & 4E PCU/CVPCU units.

Shift Details

Shift: 7A - 7:30P
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: No
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

Active Texas RN License (temporary license not accepted)
ACLS Certification
BLS Certification
Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience
Cardiovascular experience

Preferred Skills

Experience with Meditech documentation system

Unit Specific Information

Procedures performed on the unit include cardiac catheterizations and post-operative care for CABG patients.

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Royal blue with embroidery
Nail Policy: Clean and healthy nails; no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails allowed
Hair: Must be neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors. Hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back.
Tattoos: Should be covered whenever possible; individual assessment for those that cannot be covered daily.
Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears, such as nose and tongue rings, are prohibited.

Additional Unit Guidelines

Floating Policy: May float to sister step-down units and medical-surgical units with reduced assignments.
Attendance Policy: Adherence to the company-wide attendance policy is required.
