BaristaMetz Culinary Management is growing, and we have openings for Rock Star Baristas that have a passion for making hand crafted hot and cold coffee & tea beverages. We are seeking energetic team players with a winning attitude that deliver exceptional customer service to all guests in a fun and busy college setting.Requirements:Previous barista experience requiredKnowledge of how brewing equipment operatesSERV Safe CertificationAbility to bend, twist, squat, reach, crawl, push/pull, and stand without limitation and for long periods of timeAbility to carry 50lbs on a consistent basisReading, writing, oral proficiency, and basic math skillsResponsibilities:Preparing, stocking, and maintaining your station continuously throughout the dayGreets guests determining their coffee interests and needsEducates guests by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu and answering questionsPreparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques along with serving pastries, sandwiches, and other food itemsMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulationsUse of cash register, accurate cash handling and payment processingWork as a team with others, train new team members, and cross train in other departmentsComplete weekly inventory and order listClean and maintain all equipment continuouslyPerform any other tasks as requested by Operations ManagerWe are a family-driven company that delivers restaurant-inspired hospitality to everyone we serve.
