Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments and confirming patient information. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Utilize electronic health record systems such as Athena nor efficient data management. Address patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and office policies. Verify insurance eligibility Take copays from patients Answer multi-line phone Experience Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Familiarity with medical coding practices and terminology is advantageous. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems; experience with Athena is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of medical records management and filing systems is essential.
