Responsibilities
- Triage laboring patients and monitor maternal-fetal status according to unit protocols.
- Circulate during obstetric procedures as assigned and assist with deliveries as needed.
- Recover patients in PACU post-delivery and monitor for potential complications.
- Provide postpartum nursing care, patient education, and newborn care support.
- Document assessments, interventions, medications, and care plans accurately; communicate with the obstetric team to adjust care as indicated.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (Georgia preferred) or ability to obtain licensure as required for practice.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in an inpatient obstetric unit.
- Strong nursing assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Must be able to triage, circulate, and recover in PACU per assignment requirements.
- Comfortable working in a high-acuity obstetric setting and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
