Overview
Registered Nurse – L&D is needed for a travel assignment in Brunswick, GA. This 13-week shift is a nights schedule with 12-hour shifts (3x12) and a weekly pay range of $1,909 to $1,971. The assignment type is travel - temporary, with no guaranteed hours. The role involves work in an inpatient labor and delivery care setting, requiring the ability to triage, circulate, and recover in PACU, supporting obstetric patients and collaborating with the care team. Responsibilities
- Triage obstetric patients and identify urgent or evolving conditions.
- Circulate and assist in the PACU during and after delivery.
- Monitor maternal vitals, fetal status, and respond to changes per protocol.
- Administer medications and provide analgesia as ordered; document accordingly.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, and nursing colleagues to coordinate patient care.
- Document care in the electronic medical record and ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia or eligibility to practice in the state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in labor and delivery or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (12-hour) and participate in a travel assignment.
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills.
- Comfort working in an inpatient labor and delivery setting and responding to rapid changes in patient status.
