About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in leading the organization's day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and standardizing a multi-site operating model, with a focus on improving patient access and service delivery. This includes strengthening various operational functions such as scheduling, intake, referrals, and appointment management to enhance the overall patient experience. The COO will also be responsible for leading operational readiness for growth, ensuring the successful opening and scaling of new sites and services, and translating regulatory requirements into effective daily practices. A key aspect of the role is to use data to drive operational improvement, support financial sustainability, and develop a culture of continuous improvement. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree being strongly preferred. A background in healthcare operations, particularly in a mission-driven environment, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in complex healthcare operations, experience in opening or standardizing healthcare services, and a strong understanding of operational processes related to patient access, workflow improvement, and revenue cycle. The role requires a leader who can build trust, clarify accountability, and lead effectively across professional and departmental boundaries. The COO will be expected to be both strategic and highly operational, with the ability to communicate clearly, build relationships, and lead with kindness while holding a strong focus on operational excellence as a means to provide high-quality, coordinated healthcare.
