Director of Philanthropy School of Medicine

the client is seeking a Director of Philanthropy to provide creative, visionary leadership and coordination of fundraising efforts across university-wide programs. The director will play a key role, individually and collectively, in cultivating long-term relationships with donors capable of transformative gifts, while leveraging relationships and the vision of university leaders to secure support for strategic priorities and initiatives. The director will convene campus partners and advise on the development of coordinated fundraising strategies designed to maximize lifetime engagement and support for a portfolio of high-net-worth prospects. Responsibilities also include assembling key members of the university community with prospects around strategic funding priorities, helping align philanthropic goals with donor interests and institutional needs. the role is expected to be filled by a seasoned, team-oriented fundraising professional with a demonstrated record of securing major philanthropic gifts. The client emphasizes collaborative, results-oriented leadership and the ability to build capacity, strengthen value within the university ecosystem, and contribute to the execution of an upcoming comprehensive fundraising campaign.
