Sit Down Forklift Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Sit Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Ontario, CA, 91761. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to move, locate, and stack products within our facility. Responsibilities Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials and products safely and efficiently. Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and safety. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording product movements. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately. Qualifications Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating sit-down forklifts. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment. Ability to meet KPI (Key Performance Indicators) Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is a plus. Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
