POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce. This role owns full-cycle recruiting and hiring strategy for Opiniion end to end, from sourcing, screening, interviewing, to closing, onboarding, and offboarding. We're looking for someone who will ensure an exceptional candidate experience while working closely with hiring managers to understand the needs of their teams, improve how we recruit, and use AI tools to work efficiently, not someone who needs day-to-day direction. This position offers the opportunity to lead talent acquisition efforts while contributing to broader people operations initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES: Full-cycle recruiting & hiring strategy Own recruiting strategy and execution across all open roles, from sourcing through offer, largely independently Recruit for software engineering and technical roles specifically, with enough fluency to evaluate technical candidates and speak credibly with engineering hiring managers Partner directly with hiring managers and executive leadership to define role needs and run an efficient, high-quality process Source candidates via LinkedIn and other channels, reducing reliance on external agencies over time Use AI tools to work efficiently across sourcing, screening, and process — writing job posts, summarizing candidates, and streamlining repetitive steps Identify and implement process improvements as they're found, rather than waiting to be told to fix something Onboarding & offboarding Own the new hire onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the first 90 days Manage offboarding logistics and processes for departing employees Employer brand & inbound talent marketing Build and execute an inbound talent marketing strategy, including employer brand content and campaigns Develop Opiniion's presence as an employer of choice, particularly with software engineering talent Track and report on funnel metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, offer-acceptance rate) to guide strategy General coverage & policy fluency Maintain working knowledge of Opiniion's people practices and policies (handbook, benefits basics, leave process) to provide basic employee-facing coverage when team members are unavailable QUALIFICATIONS: Required: 5+ years in full-cycle recruiting, with demonstrated ownership of recruiting strategy, not just execution Direct experience recruiting for software engineering roles, with enough technical fluency to assess candidates and partner credibly with engineering leaders Experience sourcing on LinkedIn and comparable platforms Experience using Rippling Recruiter or a comparable ATS Comfortable using AI tools as part of the day-to-day recruiting workflow Experience partnering with hiring managers and executive leadership directly Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and setting direction with minimal oversight Preferred: Experience recruiting in a growth-stage software/SaaS company scaling Experience building or running employer brand or talent marketing programs Multifamily, proptech, or B2B SaaS industry experience If you are a people-oriented, forward-thinking HR professional ready to take talent acquisition and people operations to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!
