Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team, specializing in emergency care and patient observation. This role involves working with patients who require inpatient care while supporting our Emergency Department boarders across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-cardiac catheterization and port management, as well as experience in floating between various units as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and Observation Units.
• Manage and monitor patients requiring inpatient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Float between Edgewood and Florence locations as needed, accommodating patient care continuity.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation effectively.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization and managing ports is essential.
• Active compact license required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
• Previous travel experience is required.

Shift Information

The position involves working night shifts, specifically 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. There is a possibility of block scheduling, though it cannot be guaranteed.

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with COVID and Flu vaccination policies is required, with exemptions available for medical or religious reasons.
• Personal grooming standards mandate that tattoos and piercings should not include nose rings or gauged earrings. Nails should be kept to a maximum length of 1/4 inch and must be natural, with polish being acceptable.
• Scrubs must be navy blue and free of any agency or brand logos.

Please note that there is no cafeteria available on-site; however, a refrigerator and microwave are provided for staff use. Parking is free in any unrestricted space.
