Phlebotomist

Position Phlebotomist – N. Warren Street, Trenton, NJ Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly Process billing information and collect payments as necessary Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed Travel to additional sites when required Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program 3 months or more of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must be from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Reliable transportation Flexibility to work overtime as needed Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test Pay Pay Range: $17.75 – $20.00 per hour. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
