Description

American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with at least 2 years of experience and RDMS or RVT certification for a role in a hospital imaging department supporting a team of 17 radiologists.

Details

• Work in a hospital imaging department with 3 procedure rooms, 1 ED bay, and 4 dedicated imaging rooms
• Supported by a team of 17 radiologists providing a variety of imaging services
• Most assignments are on shift alongside other sonographers at the same location
• Cases vary based on location and bench assigned
• Core proficiencies include general abdominal, R/O DVT, and R/O Ectopic studies
• Depending on rotation, additional competencies in limited vascular, OB/GYN, neonatal head, breast, and prostate ultrasound are a significant value-add
• Support for invasive procedures such as thyroid and liver biopsies and drainages is also valued for certain rotations
• Shifts vary based on assigned location

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience
• RDMS or RVT certification required
• Proficiency with Siemens, Philips, and GE ultrasound units required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• No time off on holidays, including the day before and the day after each holiday
• Scrubs or lab coat required in black, teal, or white (lab coat only)
