Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist with audit and assurance projects including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
• Conduct thorough financial statement reviews and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
• Identify areas of improvement and recommend actionable solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay current with changes in regulations and best practices, ensuring the audit process remains effective and up to date.
• Provide litigation support by analyzing financial data, preparing financial models, and assisting in the calculation of damages or loss claims.
• Collaborate with legal teams and external experts in preparing expert witness reports, deposition materials, and trial exhibits.
• Conduct financial investigations, including asset tracing and financial statement analysis, to support legal proceedings.
• Prepare comprehensive litigation-related documentation with clear findings, supporting evidence, and expert opinions.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and exceptional service delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA is required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years in a public accounting setting.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), auditing standards, and litigation procedures.
• Proficient in using accounting software, data analysis tools, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify risks, irregularities, and relevant financial information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment and collaborate within a team setting.
• Remote work arrangements will not be considered for this position.
