Tool crib Technicians perform inventory duties in a warehouse dedicated to tool distribution following standard(s) within company safety guidelines.

Work Type: Onsite

Shift Timings: Monday-Thursday, 6:00AM-3:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Receives, stores, and issues handtools, machine tools, materials, and equipment in industrial establishment:
• Issues tools and equipment to workers and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.
• Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
• Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer.
• Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
• Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer, and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
• Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment, using handtools, spray gun, or pressurized spray can.
• May deliver tools or equipment to workers, manually or using handtruck.
• May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
• Occasional, Infrequent: Complete appropriate paperwork for tool, fixtures assembly equipment requests, repairs or retirement

Knowledge/Education:

• HS Diploma or GED required
• The training period for this position: Six months to a year
• Two years minimum as an assembler or warehouse team member preferred
• Required to read, write and comprehend English
• Use and comprehend specifications, blueprints, and schematics
• Knowledge of proper tool, fixture, assembly equipment usage
• Overall knowledge of product line and the tooling, fixture and assembly equipment needs
• Basic understanding of troubleshooting principles
• Knowledge of M3, Team Center, basic Word Applications preferred

The work environment in the mining and construction industries presents unique and dynamic challenges not typically found in other professions. It includes a range of settings-from a professional office environment to rugged field conditions-often in some of the most remote, beautiful and pristine areas of the world.

For office-based work, duties are performed in a professional setting that may involve extended periods of sitting and frequent computer use, which can lead to eye strain or fatigue. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. The office environment may include minor distractions from general noise and routine activities. To support employee well-being, ergonomic equipment and regular breaks are encouraged.

When working on the production floor or in testing areas, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including a hard hat or bump cap, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes.
