Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an adult acute care inpatient hematology/oncology unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Support patients in an intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU) as applicable
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy in accordance with ONS certification standards
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Float within scope of practice to other units within the facility per float policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in-hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification required (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Willingness and ability to adhere to facility float policy
• Nursys verification required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in hematology/oncology or stem cell transplant nursing
