Work Environment As a fully remote position, this role provides the flexibility to work from home while ensuring you maintain a high level of connection with your clients through telehealth platforms. You will utilize state-of-the-art teletherapy tools, which facilitate effective communication and engagement with clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual and group therapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms, enabling clients to access care in a safe, familiar environment. Perform comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, crafting tailored treatment plans that address specific goals. Document session notes and maintain accurate clinical records using our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Engage in collaborative efforts with fellow mental health professionals and support staff to enhance client care strategies. Stay informed on best practices, ethical guidelines, and evolving methodologies in teletherapy to ensure your practices are current and effective. Patient Population / Client Focus This role involves working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. You will focus on providing empathetic support and evidence-based interventions, making a meaningful difference in their lives. As a licensed professional, you'll be integral in addressing complex emotional and psychological challenges, guiding clients towards healthier, more fulfilling outcomes. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. A current LMFT license valid in the state of California. Minimum of three years of experience providing therapy remotely or through telehealth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health record systems. Preferred Experience Experience in working with a variety of client populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and specific therapeutic modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, etc.) is highly desirable.
