Seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide clinical leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of all medical operations within the organization. The CMO will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting organizational growth, provider performance, compliance, and quality initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong physician leader with experience in primary care, value-based care, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary team management.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

• Providestrategic oversight of all clinical programs and medical services
• Establishand maintain clinical standards, protocols, and best practices
• Ensurehigh-quality, evidence-based patient care across all service lines
• Leadinitiatives focused on patient safety, clinical quality, and outcomesimprovement
• Supportthe development and implementation of population health and preventivecare strategies
• Superviseand support physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, andclinical staff
• Assistwith provider recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and retention
• Conductprovider evaluations and support professional development initiatives
• Fostera collaborative, accountable, and patient-focused clinical culture

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensurecompliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
• Overseeclinical risk management and quality assurance programs
• Collaboratewith administrative leadership on policies and operational compliance

Operational & Strategic Responsibilities

• Partnerwith executive leadership to support organizational growth and strategicplanning
• Analyzeclinical performance metrics and implement improvement initiatives
• Assistin budgeting, staffing models, and operational efficiencies
• Supportexpansion of healthcare programs and community outreach initiatives
• Participatein payer relations, value-based care programs, and quality reportinginitiatives

Patient & Community Engagement

• Promotepatient satisfaction and continuity of care
• Representthe organization in professional and community settings
• Strengthenrelationships with hospitals, specialists, and healthcare partners

Qualifications

• MDor DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Activeand unrestricted New York State medical license
• BoardCertification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related primarycare specialty
• Strongunderstanding of outpatient primary care operations and healthcareregulations
• Experiencewith quality improvement, value-based care, and population healthmanagement
• Excellentleadership, communication, and organizational skills
