Wage calculation based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program. Flexible pay options: daily, weekly, or bi‑weekly through UKG Wallet. Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under supervision provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Licenses/Certification Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment. Experience Six months experience in a long‑term care environment preferred. Job Functions Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs. Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding. Assist residents with range‑of‑motion exercises and movement to wheelchairs or activity areas. Assist residents with turning and positioning in bed. Assist residents with ambulation for short distances in the facility. Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed. Perform other tasks as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
