Travel Transitional Care Unit (TCU) RN | Hilo, HI
13 Weeks | Variable Shifts | 36 Hours Scheduled After Orientation

We are seeking a flexible and experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week Transitional Care Unit (TCU) travel assignment. Enjoy the opportunity to work in beautiful Hawaii while providing exceptional patient care in a dynamic acute care environment.

Requirements:
Active Hawaii RN License (or must obtain before assignment start)
Current BLS Certification (ACLS preferred if required by agency)
Minimum 3 years of TCU, Med/Surg, or related RN experience
Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption prior to start
Flexibility to work variable shifts, days, and shift lengths

Assignment Details:
13-week contract
Variable shifts based on facility needs
Scheduled for 36 hours/week after orientation
No guaranteed hours or shift preference
Holiday coverage required
EPIC/Meditech EMR
Must arrive Thursday before the start date for Employee Health clearance on Friday

Responsibilities:\
Deliver comprehensive nursing care in a 32-bed Transitional Care Unit
Manage patients requiring wound vacs, chest tubes, tube feedings, NG/G-tubes, tracheostomy care, and PICC/PORT management
Utilize Meditech EMR and Pyxis medication systems
Float to Med/Surg and Surgical Pediatrics units as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide safe, high-quality patient care
