We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment.

?Hilo, Hawaii
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
? Shift: Varied Shifts (36 Hours Per Week)
? Holiday Coverage Required
? Speciality: Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU)

**Requirements:**
✔ Active Hawaii RN License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ ACLS Preferred
✔ PALS Preferred
✔ NIHSS Certification Preferred
✔ Minimum 3 Years of Recent Acute Care Experience
✔ Recent Progressive Care and Telemetry Experience

**Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Progressive Care and Step-Down ICU patients
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and telemetry strip interpretation
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
• Perform fingerstick blood glucose monitoring
• Administer medications and treatments using Pyxis medication system
• Care for patients requiring BiPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech/EPIC
• Float to Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, ICU, and Emergency Department as needed
