IT Technician - Manufacturing

Salary: $60,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1–2 years of IT support experience; manufacturing or industrial experience is preferred
• Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking
• Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure
• Familiarity with SQL, ERP/MES systems, production broadcast systems, or other manufacturing technologies is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple issues in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience supporting Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing operations is preferred
• Ability to work throughout a manufacturing facility, including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds
• Comfort working around production equipment and responding promptly to production-related technical issues
• Flexibility to provide occasional overtime, weekend, or off-shift support, and travel up to 10%

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues affecting manufacturing operations
• Maintain production broadcast and error-proofing systems, customer communication interfaces, scanners, printers, and related hardware
• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, switches, routers, wireless devices, and server infrastructure
• Maintain backup hardware and software, along with disaster recovery documentation for production systems
• Support preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Work with vendors and corporate IT on system implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Maintain system documentation, asset inventories, and technical procedures
• Support continuous improvement, automation, and technology enhancement initiatives
• Monitor IT security, user access, and system integrity
• Document support activities and resolve service requests in a timely manner
