Director of Sales

Vaco Arizona is partnering with a growing client to hire a Director of Sales. This leadership role can be based in Arizona or Florida and offers the opportunity to build and lead a high-performing sales organization while driving revenue growth across the aerospace, defense, industrial, and manufacturing sectors. This position requires approximately 20% travel. This role is hybrid and paying up to $175,000 with bonus. Responsibilities:Lead sales growth and revenue initiativesDevelop new business and acquire new customersGrow and maintain key customer relationshipsIdentify new market opportunities within aerospace, defense, government, and industrial sectorsCreate sales forecasts, growth plans, and revenue targetsManage, mentor, and develop a growing sales teamOversee a team of 5 direct reportsHire and develop future sales talent as the organization growsSet performance goals and create accountability measuresBuild a high-performance, customer-focused cultureImprove sales processes, workflows, and best practicesDevelop and track KPIs, dashboards, and performance metricsAnalyze sales data and provide recommendations for improvementLead CRM strategy, implementation, and optimizationEvaluate and implement sales tools and technologyRequired:10 years of progressive sales leadership experienceProven success leading teams within industrial distribution, aerospace, defense, MRO, manufacturing, technical products, or related industriesDemonstrated experience growing revenue and building high-performing sales organizationsExperience developing KPIs, dashboards, forecasting models, and sales performance metrics Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
