Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Hours: 3 -11 PM #26-520 Job Description Position Summary The 2 nd shift Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations on 2 nd shift to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production within a regulated medical device environment. This role leads a team of production employees, drives continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to quality systems, regulatory requirements, and company standards at IPG Medical. Production Operations Supervise and coordinate daily 2 nd shift production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets Monitor workflow, staffing levels, and production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency Identify and resolve production issues in real time to minimize downtime Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and materials Lead, coach, and develop a team of production associates, technicians, and/or operators Conduct performance management activities including feedback, coaching, and evaluations Schedule staffing to meet production needs, including overtime planning as necessary Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Quality & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to FDA, ISO, GMP, and other regulatory requirements Maintain compliance with IPG Medical quality systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Support audits (internal and external) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Ensure documentation accuracy and completeness Safety Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and process improvements Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield, efficiency, scrap, and downtime Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams Requirements Required Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in medical devices or a regulated industry 1+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and quality systems Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement tools Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Prior experience in medical device manufacturing Leadership & Team Development Decision Making & Problem Solving Attention to Detail & Quality Focus Results Orientation Adaptability in a fast-paced environment Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to equipment and controlled production areas Must be able to stand for extended periods of time May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, depending on production needs Employment Type Exempt Wage Information

MA: $70,550 - $83,954
