About the Position

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 45-day assignment in California, commencing on Oct 19, 2026. This vital role involves providing 24-hour in-house coverage with shifts from 7a-7a. The successful candidate will manage OB ED coverage, emergencies, and OB triage, perform patient evaluations and management, provide surgical assistance, conduct fetal monitoring, and attend to a low volume of deliveries for community OBs in a labor and delivery facility featuring nine private suites.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide OB ED coverage and manage emergencies.
• Conduct OB triage, patient evaluation, and management.
• Perform surgical assists and fetal monitoring.
• Attend a low volume of deliveries for community OBs.
• Offer 24-hour in-house coverage.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• Inpatient setting.
• 24-hour in-house call schedule, 7a-7a shifts.
• The labor and delivery facility features nine private suites.
