Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – Home Care | Veterans | Southern Oregon
Are you a Respiratory Therapist who enjoys working independently and building meaningful relationships with patients? This is an opportunity to provide respiratory care directly to Veterans in their homes throughout beautiful Southern Oregon.
You'll manage a variety of respiratory equipment, educate patients and caregivers, and make a lasting impact on quality of life—all while enjoying a Monday-Friday schedule and a high level of autonomy. Home-based respiratory therapy roles commonly focus on oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, ventilators, patient education, and ongoing equipment management.
Position Highlights
- Full-Time | Monday-Friday Days
- $35-$45/hour (DOE)
- Car allowance provided
- Full benefits package
- Work primarily with Veterans in the community
- Independent, field-based position
- No hospital floor or shift work
- Supportive team with strong clinical resources
Responsibilities
- Assess and support patients with chronic respiratory conditions
- Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use and safety
- Complete clinical documentation and coordinate care with providers
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Build lasting relationships with patients through ongoing follow-up visits
Qualifications
- Active RRT or CRT credential
- Eligible for Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure (or currently licensed)
- Experience in acute care, LTACH, home care, pulmonary, or related respiratory settings preferred
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area
- Strong communication and organizational skills

Patients are located throughout Grants Pass, Medford, and surrounding Southern Oregon communities .
